ABOUT ME

I have the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF), requiring an accredited training program, 100 hours of paid coaching and an exam to ensure coaches have a certain base level of knowledge regarding the profession.

I took the Coaches Training Institute courses and certification process, which is an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program.   I am a Certified Professional Co-active Coach (CPCC).  The initials after my name ACC and CPCC represent these levels of certification.  The integrity of the coaching profession is important to me and the certification lets you know that I uphold standards, including ethical and legal standards, spelled out by the ICF for all coaches everywhere.

I am also an Arbinger trained coach and am a member of the Arbinger Coaching Network.  I have completed the Choice in Coaching : Arbinger Mastery Training for Coaches course and am authorized to use Arbinger’s materials in one-on-one coaching. The Arbinger Institute collectively wrote Leadership and Self Deception and Anatomy of Peace, both international best sellers.  I highly recommend anyone considering coaching, actually just everyone, to read both.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering. I worked at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico for twelve years before I had children. After that, I became a Bikram Yoga instructor in 2008, which required nine weeks of grueling training (no kidding) in Mexico. I no longer teach Bikram yoga, but I consider the overall experience part of my personal development story.

I am a mother of two daughters and I enjoy spending my free time running, skiing, reading, and learning.
